About Ohana

Who is the Founder?

Ohana was founded by Kristina Melnicenco, a beauty entrepreneur, permanent makeup artist and internationally recognized speaker and trainer. It was born from the idea that uniforms can be functional, fashion forward and professional, giving you the confidence you need trough the day.

What was the inspiration for launching Ohana?

Ohana uniforms are inspired by the Hawaiian word Ohana, which means extended family. We believe that we are only as strong as the community beside us. As a beauty entrepreneur, our Founder, Kristina, values connecting beauty professionals with the skills, tools and now uniforms that they need to do their very best work (and look good while doing it!)

Is Ohana comfortable enough to wear all day?

Yes, all of our uniforms are specifically designed for long hours and maximum comfort throughout the day. The fashion forward styles can also easily transition beyond the work day and are suitable for an on the go lifestyle.

How do I find my size?

How do I choose the right style for me?

All of our uniforms are meant to flatter a variety of body types, so don’t worry! If you are concerned about fit, please visit our size guide or connect with us via chat and we will consult with you on which styles will look best based on your preferences and lifestyle.

Do you offer custom embroidery on your items?

Yes, at this moment we can offer embroidery on order with 15+ items. Please contact us for more information at info@ohanauniforms.com

How long will it take for me to receive my embroidered uniform?

The artwork approval process will take up to one week. The embroidery process will take up to 2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design. Contact us at info@ohanauniforms.com for a quote and we will be happy to provide you with more accurate timelines.

What items can I get embroidered? 

All items can be embroidered in a location that is the main body of the garment.  

Do you do custom orders? 

No

What if my size is sold out?

Unfortunately, when a style is sold out, it is sold out. There may be exceptions to this depending on the season and style, so it is best to place a pre-order on items that are pending restock, and you will be notified when the item is back. We make limited production runs each season, and styles sell out quickly! 

Are your styles available all year round?

We offer season styles that are only available for a limited time, as well as basic items that are available year round, no matter the season.

Do you have petites, tall sizes, or other specialty sizes?

At this time we do not have styles specially designed for petites or tall people. But you can check Sidney and India styles they may fit well  for tall people. 

Can I place a pre-order?

Yes, you may pre-order any basic item that is out of stock, and will provide you with an estimated delivery time frame based on production.

Orders, Shipping & Returns

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

No

Does Ohana ship outside of the USA?

Yes, Ohana Apparel ships worldwide. 

Do I have to pay duty for items that are shipped to a foreign country?

Yes

How long does it take for shipping? 

You will receive a confirmation email for your order immediately, and shipping details will be confirmed via email. Shipping timeframes are dependent upon which shipping method you choose at checkout, and vary by location. Delivery estimates will be indicated at checkout when you confirm the shipping details.

Can I expedite the shipping on my order?

Yes if that option is available on the shipping section of the order page. 

How much is shipping? 

Shipping price depends on location and carrier, and will be confirmed with you at the time of order.

How can I edit my shipping address after I have placed my order?

Contact us at info@ohanauniforms.com as soon as possible to edit your shipping details.

Can I track my order on this website?

You will receive a tracking number in an email from us after your order is placed with us.  You can use this to track the order directly on the carrier’s website.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes, you may cancel an order before it ships, and receive a refund. If you want to cancel an order after it has shipped, it will be processed as a return, and a 20% restocking fee will apply. Please check our refund and return policy.

I received the wrong order. How do I correct the order?  

Contact us at info@ohanauniforms.com and we will swiftly respond to correct the order.

What is your Return Policy?  

Returns are accepted within 30 days if all original packaging is attached and the garment has not been worn. A 20% restocking fee will apply. Please check our Shipping and Return Policy.

How do I make an Exchange?  

Contact us at info@ohanauniforms.com and we will swiftly respond to exchange your order. Please check the Shipping and Return Policy.

Where can I find my order history?

Order history will be saved to your profile if you create an account with us in the checkout process. Sign in, then visit the customer profile section to view your order history.

What forms of Payment do you accept? 

Visa, MasterCard, PayPal

Do you store my credit card on this site?  

No. All customer data is sent encrypted through our website host, Shopify. Saved credit card information on customer accounts is also encrypted, keeping your transaction safe and secure.

Wholesale & Partnerships

How long does it take for group orders to arrive?  

Shipping time for the group orders may vary and it depends if you have embroidery on your items on not. If you don't have an embroidery you can look check on the checkout page the delivery options. Also if you may think to add embroidery we will need about 2 more weeks to approve and process. But this is a rough estimation. Do you accept wholesale orders? 

Yes, Please note that there are minimum order requirements for all wholesale orders, and additional discounts may apply depending on order quantity. Please contact us at info@ohanauniforms.com
